Wayne Te Rangi

Wayne TeRangi因工作中的意外而四肢癱瘓，他與生俱來的天賦引領他加入奧克蘭的脊椎損傷藝術課程，開啟以口繪畫的第一步。1993年成為口足畫會學員，也是於同一年他得到「明日之星藝術家」的獎項。
Wayne became a tetraplegic after he was involved in a freak accident at work in 1985. His natural ability to draw encouraged him to enrol in art classes at the Otara Spinal Unit in Auckland, and he quickly developed the skill of mouth-painting.
In 1993, he was accepted as a MFPA Student member. He also won Best Amateur and Most Promising Artist in the Bruce Hopkins Awards of the same year.
